Debate

Nick loves to argue. So much so, that we told him last year he ought to try out for debate in middle school. We were able to convince him to do just that and he made the 10 person team. He has really enjoyed being on the debate team. He was a negative debater along with his new friend, Thaddeus. Together they made a formidable team and won all their rounds. All the middle schools debate on the same subject. This years subject was alternative energy incentives. Yep, heavy stuff for middle school! Unfortunately at the city tournament they were bumped after 6 negative teams made the first round, but there was only room for 4. They were disappointed, but will be back next year since both are only 6th graders.
