Family trip to the OBX

For those who don't know OBX stands for the Outer Banks of North Carolina. For the fourth year in a row (which I guess makes it an annual trip now) we headed with my family to Duck, North Carolina. This year we were joined by my Aunt Shannon and cousin Sarah (who is the same age as Nick) in addition to my parents and grandparents. Once again we had a great time. We weren't on the oceanfront this year, but the access was across the street from the house so we were still really close. The house was great, with a pool and hot tub, plenty of space, and a wonderful outdoor shower - where I decided to take all my showers while we were there. We had lots of good food, a couple nights of ghost crab hunting, and the most stunning night sky I have ever seen the first night we were there. The night of the amazing sky - we saw a meteor shower, the milky way, and even the space shuttle cruise buy in the sky. It was so dark you could see a million stars!
